On June 25th, the Texas Flying Legends Museum flew an air show for the North Dakota Petroleum Council’s “One Million Barrels, One Million Thanks” event to celebrate North Dakota reaching the milestone of one million barrels of crude oil production per day. Included in the air show were our A6M2 Zero “Last Samurai,” FG-1D Corsair “Whistling Death”, TBM -3E Avenger, and our P-51D “Little Horse.”
North Dakota is only the 5th state to reach this milestone, and currently our home state of Texas is the only state producing 1,000,000 barrels per day.
